Children with Diabetes, Inc. Joins Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies

On March 28, 2008, Children with Diabetes, Inc., which includes www.childrenwithdiabetes.com, the Quilt for Life and the Friends for Life conferences, joined the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies as part of the Diabetes Franchise.

"Maintaining our charter as an independent voice for the diabetes community, Children with Diabetes (CWD) will continue to provide state-of-the-art, science-based education and support," said Jeff Hitchcock, president of CWD. "As always, the community will be able to participate in our chat rooms, forums, online polls, surveys and conferences. We also continue to invite support from and encourage participation by ALL companies involved in making a difference in the lives of our families."

Now, with the support of Johnson & Johnson, CWD will be able to significantly extend its online assets, and expand the frequency and location of its conferences, providing even more resources to help children with diabetes and their families.
