Lauren Lanning, mom to Sarah and Monica, is really a long distance biker, but is running the half marathon (along with daughter Monica) because she is always up for a challenge, and she wants to be a part of TeamCWD! Lauren has worn many CWD hats since the first CWD conference in 2000, and she has been involved in each and every CWD event. Most people now know her as the Elementary Group Coordinator for CWD conferences. She has an amazing talent with the 6-9 year olds (and a whole lot of energy and patience)! What most people don't know is that Lauren has been building a bike team – the Rocky Road Warriors – in Denver, Colorado for the last 7 years. She has helped over 50 riders prepare for 100 mile rides, and she has completed nine century rides herself! Lauren lives, works, and plays in Colorado… but she is ready for a bike ride just about anywhere!
