Hello CWD Team!
My name is Tricia Stewart and I am looking forward to the challenge of crossing that 26.2 finish line in Orlando. Bring it on! Both my husband (Brian Foster) and I both love being part of the CWD family as staff members and we have been around since last year.
I completed the Burlington VT marathon in 2003 for ADA Team Diabetes, but have not run any races since then (I had officially 'retired'). My place in the family is the cheerleader and the glucose-getter.' I'll be completely honest and say that getting through a long run is definitely not my first pick of things I'd like to be doing! But, post-run I love the feeling of physical fitness and accomplishment that follows, and that's why I do it. I know that it is important for me to be part of this event; my hope is to continue to raise awareness in our communities about a disease that affects so many families. See you at the finish line!
