2003 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators
Children with Diabetes exhibited at the 2003 American Association of Diabetes Educators annual meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. We showed our web site, scrapbooks from the Friends for Life: Orlando 2003 and Friends for Life: Pasadena 2002, a Rufus and Ruby bear (along with their travel diaries), and squares from the Quilt for Life. Time and again, people came up to our booth and told us that they loved the Children with Diabetes web site and that they recommended it to their patients. We were very glad to hear that, of course. Everyone loved Rufus and Ruby, and the Quilt for Life squares enjoyed lots of attention.
The photos below highlight the few new products shown and give a sense for the overall exhibit hall.
The CWD booth was staffed by Laura Billetdeaux, Clare and Kari Rosenfeld, and Jeff Hitchcock.
