2006 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators

Children with Diabetes exhibited at the 2006 American Association of Diabetes Educators annual meeting in Los Angeles, California in August 2006. We showed our web site and slide show from our conference, handout our CWD brochures, and gave away CWD Friends for Life t-shirts to diabetes educators from across the country. Time and again, people came up to our booth and told us that they loved the Children with Diabetes web site and that they recommended it to their patients. We were very glad to hear that, of course.

Vendors showed their latest products, including LifeScan's OneTouch® Ultra®2 and Roche's ACCU-CHEK Compact Plus. Both Dexcom and OmniPod had large booths that generated a lot of interest from attendees. There were no new products launched at this conference, however.

For the 25th consecutive year, Novo Nordisk sponsored the 5K Run on Saturday morning.
