2007 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators
Children with Diabetes exhibited at the 2007 American Association of Diabetes Educators annual meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, in August 2007. We showed our web site and slide shows from our conferences, handed out our CWD brochures, and gave away CWD Friends for Life t-shirts to diabetes educators from across the country. Time and again, people came up to our booth and told us that they loved the Children with Diabetes web site and that they recommended it to their patients. We were very glad to hear that, of course.
Of interest to CWD families will be the new Inset 30 infusion set shown by Unomedical. The new set, to be launched in the US later this year, combines the Comfort angled set with a self-contained inserter like the Inset. Reports from some testers are that the set is very easy to use.

The CWD booth was staffed by Lauren Lanning, Michelle Rago, Elizabeth Vanover, Laura Billetdeaux, Sam Billetdeaux, Jeff Hitchcock, and Mike Schurig
