2008 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Diabetes Educators
Children with Diabetes exhibited at the 2008 American Association of Diabetes Educators annual meeting in Washington, D.C., in August 2008. We showed our web site and slide shows from our conferences, handed out our CWD brochures, and gave away CWD Friends for Life t-shirts to diabetes educators from across the country. Time and again, people came up to our booth and told us that they loved the Children with Diabetes web site and that they recommended it to their patients. We were very glad to hear that, of course.
The CWD booth was staffed by many volunteers, including Lauren Lanning, Nabil Elarbi, Giulio Pojer, and Trevor Tull, shown here. Also helping were Michelle Rago, Tom Karlya, Intissar Elarbi, Bernadette Tull, Sebastiano Torini, Kenny Rodenheiser, Sam Billetdeaux, Joe Natale, Colleen Broughton, Laura Billetdeaux, and Jeff Hitchcock.
