9:00 a.m. Opening Keynote Session – Best Practices: Why Are They Important?

1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Come and enjoy a day at the beach Marco Island style!
The recreation staff will line the beach with flags, umbrellas and place lounge chairs out to set just the right tone for our group to kick back and relax. For the active parents and kids, we will offer a volleyball court, footballs, Frisbees, 4 kayaks, 2 pedal boats, 5 water hammocks and 1 hobie sailboat.
1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Type 1 Management at School Discussion - On the Beach
Join Crystal Jackson for informal discussion about diabetes management at school. Crystal will be available all afternoon to talk about school challenges and success stories.
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Dinner in Islands A and B

Be on time so you don't miss the sunset!

Youth Program Note:
Please note that all children must be with their appropriate age group during sessions. The elementary program is for children ages 6-9; the tween program is for children ages 10-12, and the teen program is for ages 13-18. There is no 'skipping up' or 'skipping down.' This is per our insurance guidelines. No exceptions are allowed.
