Feedback from past FFL UK conferences

THANK YOU very much for organising such a fantastic weekend. Both myself and Lena had a brilliant time. We are both very much looking forward to the next one!! You've done a wonderful job and well done you! (Noorea)

Thanks again for a wonderful conference. It really meant so much to everyone. My family have come to rely on FFL for an emotional and information reboot if that makes sense! (Marissa)

I just wanted to say a huge thanks to all involved in last weekend. Our daughter is 5 and was diagnosed in January of this year. She had a great time. (Donna)

I much enjoyed speaking to several parents and several of your team, but my abiding memory is of all the children rushing around hither and thither without any concerns that they might be picked on because of their situation. In short, as a rather critical newcomer, an outstanding event if I may say so. (Mike Cross)

Thanks for organising such a great weekend. Our T1D is walking a little taller and we've had four days of no BG's above 9mmol- we found the Francesca's dietary advice really useful. (Rosie)

Lorna, Ed and I found the event really timely and immensely helpful- thanks so much for all the hard work organising it. Much appreciated. (Mark)

Thank you for an amazing conference we really enjoyed it. It was so lovely seeing the kids playing so freely with not a care in the world just how it should be for them every day. Thank you all who made this possible for our type one warriors and their siblings (Nina)

We had a fab time and can’t wait for next year!! You guys did a brilliant job. (Marian)

Thanks again for organising the conference. Dan was very down in the dumps and a bit burnt out before the weekend, but he's like a changed lad now - confident, happy and ready to face another year with T1. I've yet to figure out how a weekend that is essentially about diabetes, gives us (as a family) a huge psychological break from diabetes - but it does. Thank you so much. The work you do is invaluable and keeps us going for the other (relentless) 51 weeks of the year. (Louise)

It was a pleasure to attend the event. Joseph and I both had a great time and he had many amazing stories to share with his friends on Monday. I was really touched by the amazingly positive effect the weekend had on both the kids and parents, I certainly wish such an event had existed when I was younger. (Tim Tree)
