Presenter: Crystal JacksonChildren with diabetes spend a great deal of time in school and daycare. The federal regulations mandate that these facilities provide a safe environment. This session will discuss these issues and will briefly cover how to implement a care plan for a child with diabetes. Will he remember to test often enough? How many carbs are in dorm food? Who will test her blood glucose in the middle of the night?
