Presenters: Natalie Bellini, Melissa RingleyWhen you're a kid, there are birthday parties, slumber parties, and lots of fun get togethers that can also be scary when you have diabetes. What should you do about testing? What happens if they serve food that you don't feel ok about eating? What should you do if you don't feel well and you're at someone else's house? Diabetes Jeopardy, Survivor, and Other Fun Games
Facilitators: Stephanie Schwartz, Mike Schurig, Barbara SchreinerThis session is designed to help school-aged children learn more about diabetes while having fun doing it. Using a game format, kids will discuss the essential elements of diabetes and its management. Come play and learn!
