Sleepovers and Parties
Melissa Ringley and Barbara SchreinerWhether you're a girl or a guy, parties and nights away from home are some of the best times as a teen. They do pose some challenges, though, if you have diabetes... or if there is someone in your group with diabetes. Learn how to anticipate some of the problems and head them off before they happen. And bring your ideas and stories to share. Have you had a great party? We want to hear about it! This session is sponsored by Animas Corporation.

And don't worry -- your parents won't be told what you say.

3:15 - 4:30 p.m.
What Are Your Parents Worried About?
Presenters: Natalie Bellini, Rick PhilbinComplications. Whether you have diabetes, or whether you're a brother or sister, you've heard the word umpteen times and you don't want to talk about it. The truth is, complications do happen to some people, and they are more likely to happen if you don't take care of yourself and keep your blood glucose levels in range. Natalie and Rick want you to understand why you need to be concerned and take charge now. Session sponsored by Animas Corporation.
