9:00 a.m. Waffles. Hot coffee. Lots of hugs, tears, and smiles. Email addresses and phone numbers shared. Goodbyes and see you soons. The Farewell Breakfast at Friends for Life. Thanks to the continued generous support of Medtronic Diabetes, this was the second year that CWD has been able to offer a farewell breakfast. Over 1,500 conference participants attended, and it gave everyone the much-needed closure on this very emotional event. For those who were able to stay an extra day to relax, it was a beautiful day by the pool early in the afternoon, and finished off with a dramatic thunderstorm later in the day. See you all next year at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, July 7 - 12, 2009!
