Erica was diagnosed on New Years Day 2004 while on vacation in Washington, DC. She has been pumping with a Cozmo since August 2006. She’s an avid dancer, loves to play basketball, and is never far from a pool in the summer. Erica lives outside of Houston with her parents and two older sisters. She has raised diabetes awareness in her school by helping to organize fundraising efforts to help find a cure. A very special "thank you" goes to her Granna who created the quilt for her.
