Marissa is the inspiration for the Children with Diabetes web site, started by her father Jeff in the summer of 1995. Marissa has a BSN/RN in nursing and is now a pediatric nurse, spending time caring for kids with diabetes.
Brenda, Marissa's mom, made her quilt.
