Alexandria was diagnosed when she was 4 1/2 months old. She loves smiling, wearing dresses, dancing, playing with kids and dogs, and crushed ice.

She has a good disposition with eating and her diabetes regimen, although she'd really like a painless way to take insulin. Her family looks forward to the day that her doctor can prescribe something more profound or advanced than a slightly different blood glucose monitor.
