Melissa is 12 years old. She has had type 1 diabetes since she was 10. Melissa enjoys sports such as softball. She has a Blue Belt in Tak Kwon Do. Melissa also plays the alto saxaphone in the Middle School Band. She hopes to play in the Jazz Band next year.
