Hi, I'm Amanda Allison and I'm five years old. I was diagnosed when I was 3 1/2. I am currently getting four shots a day. I am hoping to try to get the pump again soon. I have one brother--Derek--and one sister--Emily. I have a cat named Mookie and a horse named JayJay. I like to dance and swim. I will be starting Kindergarten this fall, which I am excited about.
Every square inch of this quilt was made with love. She is my little 'Angel'. I truely belive that. She was given to us for a reason. I have learned a lot about emotions in the last 1 1/2 years since she was diagnosed. She has definitly helped put many things in my life in perspective. My song to her is (my words) "I belive there's an angel among us" - I play this song frequently and cry everytime I hear it. Like I said, Amanda is my angel. She is so loved. Grandma Nancy
