Kyle is 15 years old. He lives in California with his parents, Alan and Kathi, and his sister Alison. He has just finished his freshman year in high school, where he is an A-B student. He played Varsity basketball and JV baseball. He also enjoys playing golf. Kyle was diagnosed at age 13 and is on the MiniMed pump.
Kyle's quilt was made by his maternal grandmother, Toni Gerould.
