Marissa is a 10 year old girl who lives in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. She is in Girl Scouts, plays volleyball, loves sports -- the Pittsburgh Steelers is her favorite football team. Marissa loves cooking, and her grandmother Marcy helps her out. Marissa reads about diabetes to learn more. She tests her blood and gives her own shots. She takes two shots a day. Marissa will be getting a pump.
Marissa's quilt is made with love by her great grandmother.
