Alexandra Annis
Alex is a fun, energetic girl who loves to dance, sing, do gymnastics, and play with her friends and big sister Caty. Alex was diagnosed in February 2000, two weeks before her second birthday. The handprints on her quilt represent the family members who have helped managed her blood sugars since she was diagnsed. Her hope is that these quilts will encourage more people to "Lend a Hand to Find a Cure" for diabetes!

Alex's quilt was a joint effort of her mom and Granma (Angela Annis) All the sewing was done by Granma though! Handprint contributions are from Granpa (Harold Annis), Granma (Angela Annis), Gramma (Kathy Renne'), Big Sister (Caty), Mom (Claudine), and Dad (Barney).
