Nathanael was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 17 months old. We were lucky enough to have him diagnosed before he required any type of intensive care. Nathanael loves NASCAR, just like his daddy, uncle, and grandpa. He also loves to swim, play with his friends at church, and read books. Although he just turned 2, he still tries his hardest to help test his blood sugar.
