Aubrey and her Mom created her quilt together. Aubrey's dad, who also has Type 1 and just celebrated 44 years of no complications, is a wonderful role model for her (as well as being a super-duper Dad!) Through him she knows how taking good care of yourself really pays off and that she doesn't have to let diabetes stop her from doing ANYTHING she sets her mind to do.
