Brad was diagnosed a little after his 9th birthday in 2001. He was on shots for a few years and then he switched to a pump. That has made a huge difference in his life! He is very active, especially in a social sense. He has many friends and likes to hang out with them whenever possible. Brad life Air-Softing, riding his bike, jumping on our trampoline, and anything that has to do with fire (hence his nickname, "Pyro"). Having diabetes has not slowed him down at all. He is an inspiration to his entire family.
