Diagnosed April 19, 2003
Born on the 4th of July, Corey explodes with enthusiasm and is all boy. Diagnosed at age three, diabetes has been a challenge for his entire family. He was so excited to go to Kindergarten, but that is when the biggest problems began. The principal did not want the responsibility of a child with diabetes and that made life very difficult. Corey changed schools and life is much better for all!
Corey rides his Spider Man scooter (picture he drew on the quilt), but is now excited to be riding his two-wheeler without training wheels. He likes vacationing at the Outer Banks, playing PS-2 and celebrating his birthday at his grandparents' "cabin."
