Trevor was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 13, on September 26th, 2002.

He is an active member of the IDYA (International Diabetes Youth Ambassadors) and believes that advocating in one's community is the responsibility of every person with diabetes. He also feels that it's important to take care of his diabetes and stay healthy until a cure is found.

He likes to play hockey, ride motocross and bodyboards in the Atlantic Ocean, in Virginia Beach ,VA. where he lives.
