My name is Jason Gosselin Ross. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on September 20, 2004. I will turn 11 in June 2005. I learned the first week to prick my finger for blood tests and I am now giving my insulin shots myself very often. I have always been active in sports and diabetes does not stop me. I need to be much more careful and vigilant when I do strenuous exercise, but I still continue Tae Kwon Do and tennis. My grandmother made this quilt for me.
