Hi. My name is Kara Jones and I have had diabetes for nine year. Diabetes is a disease where the pancreas does not give enough insulin so you have to take shots and test your blood everyday. People with diabetes have to watch what they eat, take care of your feet, and see your doctor regularly. Diabetes really stinks sometimes, and I really hope someone finds a cure. Diabetes requires extra work everyday but I try not to let it get in my way.
