Callie was diagnosed on Thanksgiving Day, 2005. After eating our turkey at Grandma's, we packed our bags and headed to our local hospital. She has been doing well on MDI but will soon be pumping.

Callie lives in upstate New York and loves ice skating, swimming, and camping with her family. Callie's mom, Lisa, made this quilt in her honor, focusing on what makes her such an awesome kid despite her diagnosis of type 1 diabetes.
