Deanna is 6 years old and was diagnosed on June 12, 2002 at the Children's Hospital in Albany, New York. Deanna is now adjusting to the pokes and shots and is starting to take her own sugar readings. She lovers her family very much, and most family members share the same disease. Deanna of course has type 1 and the rest have type 2.
Deanna's sister Tara made the quilt. Tara is 12 and is willing to help out the best she can to keep Deanna safe and healthy.
