Hi my name is Tofi Coffin and I am 12 years old. My Mom submitted my quilt to commemorate my five year anniversary of living with Type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed on my 7th birthday, so it is an easy day to remember. I just completed the sixth grade. I enjoy dancing, tennis, baseball and drawing. My parents are interested in meeting or finding out about other Samoan children or families that are diabetic. I have three first cousins who live in the United States (one in Tennessee and two in California) who are also type 1 diabetic, but I have only met one in person. They help me by sending reading material and some supplies.
