I am almost six years old and have had type 1 diabetes since I was two years old. I used to have to do yucky shots, but now I have "pumpy," my insulin pump. This quilt shows some of my favorite things, from the Wizard of Oz to dinosaurs. I can't wait to go to first grade next year.

2006 update:
Molly is now 9 years old and is in the 4th grade. She still is using an insulin pump and we are amazed how they have changed since she started 5 years ago. She likes school, reading, volleyball and playing the violin. She still likes dinosaurs, but not as much as she did when her Nana Nita made this quilt. We are so thankful that her Nana captured in this quilt what Molly was like when she was six years old.
