Reann Ford was born on March 20, 1985, the fifth of six girls born to Pat and Beth Ford of Sioux City, Iowa. In July 1998, she went to Denver, Colorado to visit her older sister Robyn. Robyn woke up the morning of July 14 and found Reann in a coma. They rushed her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Reann participated in softball, basketball, bowling and volleyball. She is now a college junior majoring in Special Education. She is also engaged to Jon Risor from Bloomfield, Nebraska. He is wonderful helping her to care for her diabetes.
Reann's quilt was designed by Reann and her mother and sewn by her mother.
