Thanks to the generosity of the American Diabetes Association and Novo Nordisk, Children with Diabetes displayed the Quilt for Life at the 2005 Scientific Sessions of the ADA, held in San Diego in June 2005. Filling one-third of the Sails Pavilion, the 411 panels of the Quilt for Life reminded everyone why working in diabetes is so important, and why what they do every day is so appreciated. Many thanks to both the ADA and Novo Nordisk for making the display of the Quilt for Life possible, and to CWD parent volunteers Lauren Lanning, Michelle Rago, Chris Tull, and Joanne Stroud.
