At the very gracious invitation of the American Diabetes Association, CWD was pleased to be an exhibitor at the New York City Expo on Saturday, December 3, at the Javits Convention Center. Although the day was very cold and windy - truly a New York winter weekend - a handful of CWD moms, dads, and teens took time out of their busy schedules to staff the CWD table and meet hundreds of participants in the Expo. CWD's table was located in the Youth Zone, which was a great place for attracting kids of all ages.
Many thanks to the CWD volunteers: Anne and Liza Mastrototaro, Stacey and Jesse Nagel, Lauren Lanning, Mark Goldsmith, Michelle Rago, Rita Crowley, Maureen Finnegan, Meghan Neumann, Natalie Bellini, Jim Vail, Erin Pettibone, and Carolyn Billetdeaux. And kudos to Mark Goldsmith for arranging the CWD dinner at La Cucina de Pesce following the Expo!
