Diabetes Teaching And Management
A full staff of health professionals are always present to administer necessary medical care and help the children learn more about their diabetes. Blood testing is conducted under medical supervision.
Games, activities and informal discussions will be targeted at creating a greater awareness of the disease for both the children with diabetes and their sibling/friend.
Camp JADA will feature a variety of new and exciting activities that are sure to send the campers home with smiles and many stories to tell. There will be animal shows and lots of crafts to enjoy. We will also swim, play sports and much, much more!
Thursday night will be Parent's Night and the campers will proudly display their arts, crafts and newly discovered talents from the week. Dinner and fun will be on hand for the entire family.
NOTE: The American Diabetes Association does not discriminate based on race, gender, or religious affiliation. There is a maximum of 100 children allowed. Camp participants are accepted on first come, first served basis. Space is limited for a sibling/friend.
