Register Here Happy Hollow Camp for Children with Diabetes is a unique learning experience. It combines the educational information of daily management with a variety of activities for daily fun. For several years, Happy Hollow has been able to provide a fully qualified and energetic medical and counseling staff for the children.

In an ideal outdoor setting on 776 acres in beautiful Brown County, Indiana, Happy Hollow is able to offer a variety of activities. A private lake, a variety of trails, outdoor camping facilities, and a miniature farm with horseback riding are just a few of the many facilities available to the children.

The most important quality of Happy Hollow Camp for Children with Diabetes is the specialized and successful ways in which all of the activities are integrated with daily management of the child's diabetes.


Get in Control of Your Summer

The goal of Happy Hollow's Children's Camp for Children with Diabetes is to enable young people with diabetes to gain new insights into their diabetes while also having an enjoyable time at camp. Therefore, the theme of fun and education is always a top priority.

You Will Want to Write This Down

Happy Hollow offers a full medical and dietary staff and a well trained counseling staff in order to provide the best diabetic care possible. The children are always under supervision, yet they are encouraged to learn about and manage their own diabetes. The children have the opportunity to be around other children with diabetes and thus are able to learn and help each other and share similar experiences.

"Testing" For Fun

Happy Hollow offers a variety of activities that will definitely get good results, such as hiking, swimming, boating, archery, outdoor camping, creek hikes, horse back riding, arts and crafts, cooking out, sports activities, farm programs, rope courses and a variety of other activities. All of the activities are available to provide a well balanced schedule of fun.

Cabin Mates


Any child with insulin dependent diabetes between the ages of seven and fifteen is eligible for camp. Children of any race, creed or religion, regardless of their economic backgrounds, are all eligible. Camperships are available and are determined on an individual basis.

Getting Good Results

Since Happy Hollow Camp for Children with Diabetes provides a balanced diet of activities and education, mixed with a well trained and caring staff, a stay at Happy Hollow this summer is sure to bring good results.

Fees are US$95 for one week, US$190 for two weeks. Bike trip is US$125. Financial assistance is available.
