Our goal at Diabetes Youth Services of the Greater Toledo Area is to teach children and their families to adjust to living with diabetes so that the children feel like one of the crowd, and experience life just like the kid next door. We were founded in 1984 and are a non-profit organization that relies on corporate and community charitable donations. Diabetes Youth Services works in cooperation with Toledo-area hospitals, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the American Diabetes Association.
