Little Shots Day Camp
WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Little Shots Day Camp provides specialized learning programs designed for elementary school students with diabetes. In a fun-filled recreational setting, the camp offers these children practical solutions to problems they confront daily because of their diabetes.
The camp is for children ages 6 to 9, particularly those recently diagnosed with diabetes. The American Diabetes Association supports this quality education program for children with diabetes.
The campers spend their days in camp with nurses, dietitians, and junior counselors that also have diabetes developing the self-confidence and understanding necessary to help deal with the campers' diabetes.

Little Shots Day Camp is open to children with diabetes ages 6 through 9.
Camp Fee: $200 per child - discounted to $175 if registered before July 1, 2007. Covers all activities, meals, snacks and medical supplies. All registration forms are available on our website at www.dys4kids.org/camp_days.asp.
Camp Scholarships are available to anyone in need with diabetes. Scholarships are awarded on a sliding scale, based on income before July 6, 2007. Request a Reduced Fee Application when registering your child. Scholarships are also available through local churches and service organizations (Lion's Club, Mason's, etc.) please contact them for details.
Deadline: July 13, 2007.
