To Share a Day of Fun and Excitement at theGulf Coast Exploreum
Museum of Science
Who: Children with diabetes, ages 6-13 What: A day of fun, education, hands-on exhibits, IMAX Theatre! When: Saturday, July 31, 1999 from 7 am until 5 pm (includes travel time). Round trip transportation will be provided to Mobile, Alabama. Where: The Gulf Coast Exploreum / Museum of Science in Mobile, Alabama Cost: $5.00, includes transportation, Exploreum admission, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, craft items, t-shirt, goody bag.
At the IMAX Theatre, we will journey to Alaska to explore its rich history, surprising wildlife, magnificent landscapes and much, much more.We will also experience the "Robotics" traveling exhibit from the Carnegie Science Center. Feel first-hand how robots work and process information. Imagine shooting hoops with a 7 foot robotic arm! See through the eyes of a famous robot explorer and experience its voyage into a volcano. Challenge a robot and determine who has the metnal and physical advantage -- man or machine.
