The American Diabetes Association Montana Youth Retreat is a resident camp located at Camp on the Boulder, south of Big Timber, Montana. It provides a safe summer camp experience that allows an opportunity for youths to live with peers who also have diabetes. Retreaters learn diabetes self-management that takes place during "teachable moments" and is taught by qualified diabetes professionals.
A few of the activities include fishing, nature hikes, arts and crafts, and perennial favorites such as Dance Night and the annual Talent Show.
