Message from the Chairman for April 4, 1999 It is my honor to be named Chairman of Children with Diabetes. This organization not only promotes understanding of the care and treatment of diabetes, but it also promotes understanding of research into a cure. My goal in life is to make a difference in helping find a cure for diabetes. Our web site -- childrenwithdiabetes.com -- is the largest free-access web site on diabetes in the world. It has over 4,700 pages. It is an online community for kids, families, and adults with diabetes. Each week there will be a Message from the Chairman. I will share with you my thoughts, my goals and whatever news there is in the diabetes community. In return, I would like to hear from you. Please feel free to share your thoughts with me.
