Message from the Chairman for September 12, 1999When my child was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, my wife and I had more questions than any one person could answer in a week. There would be times when these unanswered questions would wake me up in the middle of the night…I would think to myself, "how will I possibly know what to do all the time" and of course, "why my child?" Only my anger had stronger feelings that the "not knowing."
Childrenwithdiabetes.com is here as a free service to answer all your questions about diabetes, even in the middle of the night. We survive on financial contributions from you and our sponsors. Both contributions help make the Children with Diabetes web site possible.
As part of our Fall Fundraising Drive, we have introduced six new Humpty Dombrowski hats in, of course, the best mixed patterns. We also continue to offer our polo shirt, and an excellent book about managing Type 1 diabetes. All are available in our online store.
