Could You Have Diabetes And Not Know It?
What you don't know can hurt you when it comes to diabetes. One of every fifteen Americans has diabetes and at least a third of them don't even know it. Because diabetes is often missed for many years, over half of those newly diagnosed already have problems such as heart disease, loss of feeling in the feet or eye damage. Having diabetes but not knowing it is a dangerous situation.
