The B-D® Safe-Clip® insulin syringe needle clipper cuts off the needle from an insulin syringe and stores the needle safely inside the clipper. The packaging indicates that the clipper holds up to two years worth of needles, but the actual number of needles that can be stored is not stated. The Safe-Clip is quite small -- 4 inches long, and less than one inch wide and deep -- so it easily fits in a pocket or a purse. It is also very easy to use, even for kids.
