| On March 10, the American Diabetes Association is sponsoring a day at Capitol Hill. There will be a mini-rally (couple of hundred people) and then meetings with members of Congress. The message to Congress will be: Find a Cure for Diabetes - Now.
The ADA is also sponsoring 1 1/2 days of meetings and workshops to prepare people for the big day. US$50,000 in scholarships is available to help pay travel expenses for people to attend the conference and the Day at the Capitol. The ADA will pay up to $750 in travel expenses per person.
