BIOCONTROL ANNOUNCES FDA MEETING

Pittsburgh, PA - October 25, 1996 - Biocontrol Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:BICO) announced today that its resubmitted 510(k) notification for the Diasensor 1000^TM noninvasive glucose sensor for diabetics has been accepted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The Company further stated that a meeting between the FDA and Biocontrol concerning this 510(k) has already been set for early November.

Biocontrol Technology, Inc. has its corporate offices in Pittsburgh, PA and is involved in the development and manufacture of biomedical devices and environmental products.
