Don't Be Misled: Pancreas Tonic is Not a Cure

In January 1999, a major US television network ran a program that included a segment about a product called "Pancreas Tonic." The company selling the product claims the product may be a cure for diabetes. Advertised on infomercials, Pancreas Tonic costs US$30 per month and offers no guarantee of anything whatsoever. Before you spend your money on Pancreas Tonic or other products that make claims such as this, ask your diabetes team.

Pancreas Tonic is not a substitute for your prescription for glucose control. If you decide to use Pancreas Tonic, it should be taken in addition to your regular prescription for glucose control.
