Please advise if you can mix 70/30 insulin and regular insulin in the same syringe for administration.

Answer:

Yes, you can. We advise that you stick with one brand, however (either Lilly's Humulin or Novo's Novolin) for both the products you're mixing.

70/30 insulin is 70% NPH and 30% Regular; by adding more Regular, you'd be decreasing the percentage of NPH and increasing the % of Regular. You could also do this (and most people do) by mixing NPH and Regular.
