Question: From New York, New York, USA:
I am interested in using the NovoPen 1.5 injection device but I don't know if it can be used with Becton-Dickinson pen needles. Can I use the NovoPen with a Becton pen needle? And can I use the NovoPen with Lilly insulin?
Answer:
It should be all right. Be sure to do lots of blood sugar tests the first few days if you try!
[Editor's comment: Recently, Novo-Nordisk (maker of the Novo Pen) has said that would not honor the warranty on their device if it was used with Lilly insulin cartridges. WWQ]
